In response to my last entry, on the inevitability of human nature, a friend sent me some lines from Chuang Tzu:

" yearn for a good without evil

    justice without injustice,

    order without disorder

    means does not understand the laws of the space,

    because it means long for heaven without land,

    yang without yin,

    positive without negative. "
